The 3 assignments we needed to do for NED11 were all about building our own website from scratch. We were not permitted to use digital images at all so we had to scan images in from magazines, books, fliers, etc. We had to build a website with 8+ pages on a topic of our choice - but it could not be for our own business. I have two passions - cooking and Italy. My website is about Italy - it's traditions, customs, culinary terms and of course food. We could not use a WYSIWYG program as we had to hand-code all our content using XHTML and CSS.
